Underwriting Assistance Liability & Marine (m/f/d) Maternity Leave cover (24 months)
Job Description
- Support for Senior Underwriter in accordance with the job description, mainly:
- o administrative duties, working with company IT systems, policy administration
- o support with risk analysis, premium calculation, preparation of tenders
- o preparing supporting insurance documents - certificates, settlements
- o preparing wordings for insurance policies
- o communicating with business partners and the parent company
- o preparation of proposals regarding decisions (beyond underwriting authority)
- o monitoring of portfolios and business requirements
- o support with business planning and expansion of new and current business
- Providing services for clients and brokers
- Organising, informing and communicating within the work responsibilities
- Individual goals (e.g. projects for process and product development)
Qualification
- Degree (College/University)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in insurance industry
- High level of self-motivation, responsibility and diligence
- High level of communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to cooperate with others and be a team player
- Self-activity, initiative along with decision-making capability
- Familiar within all functions of MS Office products
- Slovak language at a native speaker level and a good knowledge of English (German is an advantage)
