Underwriter Construction & Engineering (m/f/d)

• Development of businesses within the distribution channels.
• Prequalifying accounts and utilizing underwriting acumen to select Engineering risks within company's risk-appetite.
• Expand and develop new business opportunities through production & marketing calls with brokers and customers.

• 3-5 years engineering insurance experience.
• Preferably a graduate in Engineering.
• Strong existing broker relationships with a concentration on the retail brokerage community.
• Experience and comprehensive understanding of contract forms, including broker manuals.
• Strong understanding of CAT peril modeling/pricing.
• Proven customer relationship experience.
• Develop and build the Engineering book of business.
• Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships.
• Identify and prequalify new business.
