Trade and Export Control Manager
Location: Belgrade
Your tasks
- Support and manage day-to-day export control and customs operations, including regulatory analysis, oversight of manual compliance checks and documentation of material release decisions
- Provide assessment and guidance regarding the implementation of sanctions, embargoes and licensing requirements, in support of operational business activities
- Manage licenses by assisting in the oversight of the maintenance for GTS system license architecture, supporting license governance strategy, implementing new license conditions
- Maintain, administer, and assist in the development of company-wide Trade and export control business processes
- Act as the primary point of contact on export controls and customs for business operations
- Drive export and customs compliance in connection to freight forwarders and suppliers
- Identify and drive IT automation projects to enhance export control and customs business processes.
- Support the Harmonized System Code and Export Control Classification (ECCN)
- Support Global Trade Compliance projects, as necessary
- Provide on-call duty services
- Assist with identification of export compliance within customs transactions, as necessary
- Conduct Audits
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
- Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
Your profile
- Education or equivalent working experience in Export Control and International Trade.
- Working experience
- Aviation industry - min 3 years (Preferred)
- International Trade and/or Export Control Experience min 3-5 years
- Experience utilizing and implementing International Trade Regulations and Policy
- Experience with SAP / ERP Systems, GTS desired
