Test Engineer for Telecommunication Applications (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team at the location in Unterschleißheim (near Munich), we are looking for a Test Engineer for Telecommunication Applications (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
YOUR NEW TASKS
- Develop understanding of the high-level solution and product architecture to follow the test pyramid and automation guidelines
- Create System and Firmware level Test Specification and Test Plan based on the Customer and System Requirements
- Coordinate and execute release testing as appropriate to test complex hardware/software systems
- Conduct ad hoc and exploratory testing and develop manual scripts as required
- Analyse test results and sign-off that they are passing or troubleshoot/identify issue and drive it all the way to bug closure by coordinating with the engineering team
- Work with Test Automation team to plan and automate repetitive manual test and assist in creating an automated test environment
- Assist engineering and development team in finding root cause of defects by identifying common manifestations of a problem
YOUR PROFILE
- A university degree focused on IT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Industry knowledge on at least one wireless communication standard and associated platforms e.g. Sigfox, NB-IoT, LORA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular
- Familiarity in working with relevant lab equipment and infrastructure such as Digital Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators etc.
- Professional experience in system and software test process, spanning complete development cycle
- Hands on knowledge in writing and executing scripts, e.g. in Python
- Working knowledge in software tools such as Jira, Confluence, Requirements Management and Test Management tools are an added advantage
- Experience in agile project teams and certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Agile Tester is a plus
- Strong command of English language in speaking and writing
