To strengthen our team at the location in Unterschleißheim (near Munich), we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for Embedded Systems (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

YOUR NEW TASKS

  • Design and develop tailored software solutions as Test Automation Engineer for embedded systems verification
  • Conduct frequent cross-team collaborations to understand system level requirements to innovate and propose custom automated solutions
  • Improve existing test frameworks with respect to new hard- and software components
  • Write test steps to convert existing manual test cases to automated ones
  • Perform system tests, analyse test results, being part of the verification pipeline
  • Train fellow test engineers and automation engineers regarding test environment setup and scripting as needed
  • Support with troubleshooting tool instabilities and test framework bugs 

YOUR PROFILE

  • BSc. In Software Engineering or relevant engineering field 
  • At least 5 years of experience as Software Engineer or Test Automation Engineer 
  • Excellent knowledge on Object Oriented Programming preferably in Python and/or C# 
  • Good experience in creating test cases or test scenarios from technical requirements and creating concepts for test automation 
  • Familiarity in working with hardware components like embedded microcontrollers and lab measurement equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzer etc. is desired 
  • Understanding of SaaS concepts, Web APIs and Webhooks is a plus 
  • Working knowledge in productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence as well as Requirements
  • Management and Test Management tools are an added advantage 
  • Self motivated, solution oriented and pro-active work attitude being able to take own initiatives without external inputs 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, including technical writing and presentations
