To strengthen our team at the location in Unterschleißheim (near Munich), we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for Embedded Systems (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
YOUR NEW TASKS
- Design and develop tailored software solutions as Test Automation Engineer for embedded systems verification
- Conduct frequent cross-team collaborations to understand system level requirements to innovate and propose custom automated solutions
- Improve existing test frameworks with respect to new hard- and software components
- Write test steps to convert existing manual test cases to automated ones
- Perform system tests, analyse test results, being part of the verification pipeline
- Train fellow test engineers and automation engineers regarding test environment setup and scripting as needed
- Support with troubleshooting tool instabilities and test framework bugs
YOUR PROFILE
- BSc. In Software Engineering or relevant engineering field
- At least 5 years of experience as Software Engineer or Test Automation Engineer
- Excellent knowledge on Object Oriented Programming preferably in Python and/or C#
- Good experience in creating test cases or test scenarios from technical requirements and creating concepts for test automation
- Familiarity in working with hardware components like embedded microcontrollers and lab measurement equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzer etc. is desired
- Understanding of SaaS concepts, Web APIs and Webhooks is a plus
- Working knowledge in productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence as well as Requirements
- Management and Test Management tools are an added advantage
- Self motivated, solution oriented and pro-active work attitude being able to take own initiatives without external inputs
- Excellent communication skills in English, including technical writing and presentations
