Teamlead General Ledger & Group Accounting (all genders)
in Prague, Czech Republic
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Responsibility for the General Ledger and Group Accounting in accordance with HGB / IFRS
- Preparation of individual financial statements for the Schleich Group companies (monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements)
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Schleich Group
- Reconciliation with the sub-ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts payable) and Group accounting
- Carrying out valuations (inventories, provisions) and intercompany reconciliations
- Asset accounting tasks such as capitalization and execution of depreciation runs and preparation of the fixed asset movement schedule
- Implementation of transformation processes towards agile methods and digitalized processes as well as active participation in projects and the creation of guidelines
- Technical and disciplinary management of a team of 8 people
- Contact person for auditors and tax consultants as well as internal stakeholders
Your story so far:
- You can demonstrate further training as an accountant or alternatively a degree in business administration and also have several years of professional experience in the field of accounting
- Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in leading a team
- You have sound knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You have very good knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP s4/Hana
- You are fluent in written and spoken English, German is a big plus
