We are looking for a Cloud Lead to join our team and help us design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud-based applications and services. You will also mentor and coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies.
Your tasks
- Design and implement cloud architecture using AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Manage and optimize the cloud resources and costs
- Ensure the availability, security, and compliance of the cloud environment
- Define company-wide standards, processes and policies for cloud-related topics and force automation
- Evaluate vendors and external partners to work with and establish long-term relationships
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide expert guidance on cloud-related topics and offer strategic advice
Your profile
- Bachelor's science, engineering, or related field degree in computer
- At least 4 years of experience in cloud and engineering with proven track record of delivering complex and high-quality cloud solutions
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing cloud engineering teams, with demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in one or more of the following cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience in cloud and automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience in cloud security and compliance best practices
- Experience in cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and storage concepts and solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud cost and resource optimization tools
- Certifications in cloud are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
