- Academic degree: You have a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration (preferably) or a related field that qualifies you for enrollment in a doctoral program at WU.
- Strong academic record: You have a solid academic background and qualification in one or more of the following areas:
1. Strategic management, particularly strategic change, strategic leadership or corporate governance
2. Organizational change
3. Organization design (e.g., novel organizational forms, designs for the future of work)
4. Quantitative empirical research, statistical and econometric analysis (e.g., Stata, R), and / or natural language processing (Python, R).
- Passion for academic work: You have a strong dedication to writing a PhD dissertation and publishing in top-tier journals in strategic management.
- Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: You are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats.
- Soft skills: You have very good communication, presentation, and analytical skills, a high self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, willingness to take on responsibility, natural curiosity, and are a team player.
- Language skills: You have strong skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of German is not required but will be considered a plus.
- Interest in teaching: You show a high motivation and capacity to excel in teaching.
