Supervisor - Warehouse

As Supervisor-Warehouse you have the overall responsibility to manage and lead the team and ensure Continuous Improvement Culture.
Lead by example in compliance with the company and customs policies, customer-, technical-, legal-, quality- Swiss Government- and Aviation Authority requirements at economical favorable terms and conditions, you will support SR Technics in meeting its growth objectives.

Your tasks

 
  • Ensures that all rules, regulations, and processes are applied and followed with special attention to dangerous good, flammable and chemicals in line with the customer contract, regulatory procedures, and SR Technics procedures
  • Ensure quality requirements to the valid regulations and procedures
  • Manage and lead the assigned Warehouse Team (Warehouse Team, Standard Parts and Material Kitting Team, ES Material Movements Team, Scrap and Unserviceable on hold Team) in a multicultural environment
  • Plan and manage resources
  • Handle Material according to urgency with consideration of the operationally demanded priorities
  • Responsible for day management of employees where applicable, recruitment train develop and manage performance
  • Prioritize operational tasks
  • Review and optimize processes and procedures
  • Ensure quality requirements to the valid regulations and procedures
  • Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs
  • Monitor KPI and report to Team Lead Logistics Services
  • Implement and ensure a Continuous Improvement culture, lead with examples
  • Performance oriented leadership of the team and its employees
  • Perform Double Check of outgoing material warehouse
  • Perform Troubleshooting daily business
  • Monitor existent employee's qualification validity in Training Tool and register for upcoming trainings as necessary

Your profile

 
  • Position Key Requirements and Competencies
  • Logistics Apprenticeship or similar education
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in logistics (preferably in Aviation Industry)
  • Previous experience as team leader (would be an advantage)
  • Good communication skills
  • English Level B1 / German C1
  • Basic SAP / Expert on MS Office Tools
  • Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Lean Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Positive attitude and solutions orientated.
  • High degree of customer focus, both internal and external
