• Support the scientific staff in the project SeaMe
• Implement ROS2 nodes for the control and navigation of the AUV DeepLeng
• Support in system testing and field trials
• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, robotics or a comparable field of study
• Knowledge of software frameworks for robotics, ideally ROS/ROS2
• Knowledge of programming in C++
• Knowledge in control theory, sensor fusion and SLAM
• Experience with GIT
• Team-work and reliability
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility
• As a working student, you will have the opportunity to work on interdisciplinary research projects
