Strategic Purchasing Manager with Expertise in Chemistry and Acrylic Dispersion Formulations, as well as other adhesive tape components (Liner, films, papers)  

• Lead all procurement and cost saving activities with a focus on direct materials, aligning closely with the CEO and Head of R&D.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and sustainable supply chains.

• Conduct contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes, contributing to the company's profitability.

• Identify and develop relationships with suppliers, ensuring a best-in-class supply chain while minimizing procurement risks.

• Support the introduction of alternative procurement sources to optimize lead times, inventory levels, and overall costs.

• Oversee the sample approval process in coordination with Production, R&D, Sales, and Procurement teams.

• Monitor national and international supplier markets to identify new suppliers, product innovations, and market trends.

• A Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic purchasing or lead buyer role, preferably within the chemical or adhesives industry.

• Extensive knowledge of acrylic dispersions and adhesive formulations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for procurement optimization and cost savings.

• Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
