When our world-renowned monitoring software PRTG is deployed in large & complex IT networks, IT admin teams utilize the multi-server data management and visualizations provided by our own cross-platform desktop application. This application was developed with commercially licensed Qt / C ++ and is aimed at more than 50,000 power users around the world who work with Paessler PRTG.
To put together a world class and performant experience, we have a team of talented desktop application engineers and we're looking for you to join and strengthen our team.
This position is based in the Czech Republic.
YOUR TASKS
- Together with your team, you will be responsible for the development of our cross-platform application PRTG MultiBoard.
- You will develop the user interface for the desktop application, custom visual components, business rules, and in-memory data management functions, all written in C++/Qt.
- You will bring new ideas to the team and work with the Product Owner to plan and implement them.
- You will support our technical support team with complex 3rd level support cases.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have experience using Qt/QML.
- You are proficient with developer tools such as QtCreator, JIRA, and Git.
- You have experience with modern C++ on Windows, ideally on MacOS and Linux as well.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from your colleagues.
- You have a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles, and the development of complex software systems.
- You consider unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration as essential elements of software development.
- Ideally you will have some experience of agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).
