As a Software Architect, you work closely with Software Engineering teams to design, validate,
and develop the Matrix42 Cloud Platform which powers our products.
This position is a direct report to the Head of Cloud Architecture and is a pivotal individual
contributor, profoundly influencing the trajectory of our platform and product line. Collaborating
intimately with Team Leads, fellow Architects, and the Platform Product Manager, this role actively
shapes the engineering backlog with hands-on involvement. The Cloud Software Architect is
not just a strategist but also a practitioner, playing a key role in steering the development and
implementation of robust, cloud-ready software.

MUST HAVES

• Demonstrable experience for the role in a SaaS or Cloud business as either Software Engineer or Software Architect
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Preferably good educational attainment in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical field.
• Entrepreneurial spirit grounded in data and good judgement

NICE TO HAVE

• Prior experience with Azure, and the Azure PaaS stack
• Experience with Big Data and Machine Learning would be valued highly
