Responsibilities

Maintain, extend, and continuously improve our infrastructure -
Ensure solid observability across all our services (visualization, alerting, log aggregation) -
Design, build, and own Nix build infrastructure -
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners -
Liaison with secunet's internal IT to keep strategy aligned -
Document your work, both for users of the infrastructure as well as for fellow developers -
Ensure the security of our services using modern technologies
Your Profile
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills -
Extensive experience with architecting and operating on-premises deployments -
Extensive experience with the NixOS ecosystem -
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) -
Proven ability to contribute to Open Source -
Programming experience in Rust, Python, Go or similar languages -
Ability to execute autonomously in alignment with other teams in the broader Software Factory - Familiarity with the German language, while not strictly required, is an advantage
