About the role:
And this is how you protect the world we live in
- Holistic project management responsibility for the development of new, and the expansion of existing software solutions in an international environment including large-scale projects, initially with a focus on e-commerce
- Structured assessment of project objectives and requirements and creation of holistic project plans including cost and resource planning
- Preparation of comprehensive briefings, research and selection of suitable service providers as well as evaluation and negotiation of offers
- Conception of high-quality solutions in cooperation with internal stakeholders and service providers regarding technology, user experience and design
- Implementation management, quality assurance and documentation
- Steering of internal and external project teams and members, active involvement of shareholders and comprehensive stakeholder management whilst being the first point of contact for the internal customer on all software-related issues in all project phases
- Overall project communication, cost control and reporting
- Ongoing consideration and support of change management
- From a position of cross company support you will act as a proactive advisor and go-between to our global subsidiaries. Working together with them to agree the correct approach
Who we are looking forward to
- Hold a university degree in either business, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Have at least five years' professional experience in leading significant (scope and criticality) software development projects, ideally around e-commerce
- Proficient in modern as well as classic project management methods and open to learning new approaches. Extensive experience in coordinating internal and external project teams
- Deep understanding of technical contexts and a good feel for design and usability
- Excellent moderation and presentation skills
- Excellent English skills
- In the context of a global organization, you are familiar with flexible working hours and perceive them as beneficial in the work-life balance
- The presence in an office is not obligatory. However, regular business trips to local hubs or the Munich headquarter must be possible
