Senior Manager Environment and Social Risk Management (m/f/d)

ASEAN countries, Bangladesh and Pakistan

In a number of focus countries we have own offices or can rely on representative offices, which contribute towards the fulfilment of our operative and strategic corporate goals.

Your new area of responsibility

Environmental and social assessment of opportunities and risks in the financing of companies, project financing, banks and private equity funds in emerging and developing countries
Identification, structuring and negotiation of actions plans to mitigate identified risks
Monitoring the portfolio of existing projects, including the implementation of agreed actions
Identification, initiation and support additional advisory measures to increase environmental and social performance, transform our clients and improve the developmental impact of our engagements
Client visits for assessment and monitoring in the Asia region are foreseen

Your profile

Engineering, social or environmental science studies with an international focus
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including environmental and social management in the financial sector, companies or NGOs
Broad experience in implementing international environmental and social standards (especially IFC Performance Standards) and human rights requirements
Relevant experience in developing countries
Very good English skills, good knowledge of relevant other languages are an advantage
Customer orientation, communication and teamwork skills, negotiating skills, risk awareness
