Your field of play
- Manage and oversee an accountant and daily accounting operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines (Swiss GAAP FER)
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and ability to perform gap analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
- Handle tax compliance (e.g., VAT, income tax returns for both companies)
- Lead and manage the audit process to ensure proper financial monitoring
- Provide financial support and advice to the management team of the respective business units
Your story
- Analytical, structured, and independent working style
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- At least 10 years of professional experience in accounting
- Accounting certification preferred (e.g., Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and
- Accounting, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Knowledge of LucaNet and Power BI is a plus
- Fluent in German and English
