Senior Administrator, Business Operations

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join our Business Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and facilities operations, primarily based at our offices in Tring.

For this position, you should be able to use your organisational skills to manage your time effectively and provide a high class service to colleagues and suppliers in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Your Job

  • Responding to requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office and facilities functions, including welcoming visitors and providing office familiarisation
  • Collaborate with the other Teams to ensure the provision of highest quality services to internal and external customers
  • Proactively ensure compliance against health and safety requirements for the office/business functions, escalating any concerns where required to the senior manager
  • Supervise routine weekly and monthly financial tasks including reviewing supplier invoices and cross-charging expenses
  • Develop, review and implement office policies and procedures, including risk assessments and method statements


Your Profile

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Administrator
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements
  • Demonstratable prior experience of office and facilities management
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and resolve issues calmly, knowing when to escalate
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, collaboratively as part of a team and to deputise for other team members in their absence
