The Senior Accountant will serve as a key business partner, supporting sustainable business growth while ensuring that accounting, financial controlling, and reporting adhere to both HQ and local regulations. This position is based in the Philippines.

About the role
The Senior Accountant will serve as a key business partner, supporting sustainable business growth while ensuring that accounting, financial controlling, and reporting adhere to both HQ and local regulations. This position is based in the Philippines.
What You Will Do
- Managing all aspects of bookkeeping and reporting of Operating entity.
- Supporting the team in the day-to-day operation including; Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FixedAssets, Petty cash, Travel & Expenses claim, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Preparation and fi ling of BIR returns and other regulatory and statutory reports. Be able to navigate inside the BIRwebsite without supervision and know how to deal with the BIR to update the Company's user access which is includingthe ELECTRONIC FILING AND PAYMENT SYSTEM (eFPS).
- To ensure the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts are prepared and reported in an effi cient and timely mannerto meet tight deadlines and reporting to BayWa r.e. group
- Responsible for audit documentation and coordinating with auditor for annual audit and ensure that the fi nancialstatements submitted to local authorities.
- Able to liaise with company secretary, auditor, BIR and external business partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in costing for a trading business (mandatory), Finance, and General Accounting, or a related field.
- Must be knowledgeable with rules and regulations of BIR and experience of VAT Law and Withholding Tax.
- With substantial experience in handling BIR, SEC and Business Bureau related transactions is an advantage.
- Required skill(s): full set of accounting and familiar with accounting system (NetSuite is preferable)
- Proficient in MS Offi ce applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Good English communication skill.
- Confident, hardworking, dependable, and good team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Hands-on and multitasking.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadline.
