Innovative, curious, and future-oriented: The Klax School in Pankow is a state-recognized bilingual all-day school. From grades 1 to 13, we work based on the internationally recognized concept of Klax pedagogy. The school's primary focus is on art and digitalization. We learn through projects and teach successfully using the MS Office 365 Teams learning management system. In 2021, we were proud to achieve second place in the German School Award.
To strengthen our forward-thinking team, we are looking for a Science Teacher (m/f/d) for the Middle School in a permanent position starting as soon as possible.
To strengthen our forward-thinking team, we are looking for a Science Teacher (m/f/d) for the Middle School in a permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Your Tasks:
- Teaching science in the middle school.
- Liaising with the parents of pupils in the classes taught.
- Participation in conferences and school events.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the subject-specific group
Your Profile:
- A degree in teaching with science as a subject or an equivalent qualification leading to a Master's degree.
- Experience in school work, preferably at all-day and community schools, ideally at private schools.
- Very good communication skills and experience in working with parents
- Identification with the values and principles of a pedagogy that focuses on the individual development of the child
- Didactic and methodological diversity in the classroom
- Experience and enjoyment of working with digital media
- Business fluent knowledge of German and English.
- Commitment, creativity and strong communication skills paired with a natural authority.
