We are looking for a new Sales Engineer for our great PlaxidityX team in Japan

Customers include car manufacturers, their Tier 1 suppliers, fleet operators and aftermarket connectivity providers. What you do

  • Be the customer technical voice and focal point within PlaxidityX
  • Engage potential and existing global customers with various technical presentations, demonstrations and trainings to convey the value of PlaxidityX solutions and find a best match to customer needs
  • Lead technical analysis of customer architectures, future concepts and requirements to support and define the strategy of sales
  • Technical lead of RFI/RFQ/ POC activities
  • Work closely with PlaxidityX product and services teams to meet customer current and future needs and KPIs
  • Seamless handover of projects from Sales to the Projects and Delivery teams

What you bring

  • BSC in computer science, Engineering or similar
  • 5 years experience in the automotive domain, electrical architecture and design related aspects
  • In depth knowledge in
    • Ethernet and IP networks
    • Architecture of operating systems (Linux, Android)
  • Business oriented and customer facing
  • Great presentation skills (technical workshops, technical demos)
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services, positioning PlaxidityX products against competitors
  • Auto deduct. Learning technical topics in depth
  • Native Japanese and Excellent English language skill
  • Self management skills
