Sales Agent as self-employed or employed sales representative (m/f/d) - French and German speaking parts of Switzerland

As a successful wholesaler of automotive spare parts and accessories, we have been standing for consistency and growth for over 100 years. We are a regionally connected family business, and we see ourselves as return optimiser for car dealers, specialist dealers and wholesalers as well as independent garages.
 
In 2023, our sales activities in Germany and 70 other countries around the world enabled us to increase our turnover to over EUR 128 million. We owe this to our customers, suppliers and, above all, a motivated team of 400 employees.
For our further growth strategy, we are looking to enhance our team with a
Sales Agent as self-employed or employed sales representative (m/f/d)
to support stockholding garages in the French and German speaking Parts of Switzerland.
Your responsibilities:
  • Active acquisition of new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships
  • Advice on and sale of automotive spare parts to independent garages, car dealerships and trading companies
  • Preparation of quotations and orders
  • Recording of requirements and strategic preparation of the necessary activities
  • Market analyses and competition monitoring
  • Participation in trade fairs and events to present our products
Your profile:
  • Completed commercial training or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in sales, ideally in the automotive spare parts sector
  • Technical understanding and enthusiasm for cars
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent and goal-orientated way of working
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel is a requirement
  • Knowledge of English or German as a foreign language is useful
