ALLPLAN is the interdisciplinary BIM software solution for architecture, engineering, and construction that supports and integrates the design and construction process throughout all project phases. ALLPLAN allows customers to create, modify, optimize, and manage 3D models, representing buildings, building components or engineering structures, which is the essential part of BIM workflows and crucial for project collaboration, design coordination and validation, and executive planning up to construction. The Product Owner DfMA is therefore instrumental in driving the success of ALLPLAN and its BIM tools and directly impacts the product quality, customer satisfaction, and the company`s competitive position in the market, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key resonsibilieties:
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for the engineering analysis & structural workflows of our products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Define and prioritize product themes and collaborate on strategy based on customer feedback, market research and data analysis.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Ensure that the digital experience is user-friendly, accessible, and meets industry standards and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and communicate updates, progress, and chailenges in a clear and concise manner.
To succeed in this position, you will need the following knowledge and experience:
Technical Knowledge
- Show a high level of understanding of steel detailing and fabrication standards, enough to communicate with the development teams, and build future workflows and frameworks, trouble shoot and interrogate and recommend best practice ways of working for our customers.
Product Awareness
- This role will focus on the continual Improvement and innovation of SD52 by Allplan products and services.
Industry Knowledge
- Be fully conversant with steel detailing and fabrication workflows. Develop an awareness of our competitors with regular competitive analysis studies and use this information for decision making.
Product Management Knowledge
- Demonstrate expertise in product management, with agile processes and scrum. Also bring an ability to manage a highly motivated team
- Discover the needs of the customer, and work with various stakeholders to deliver the right solutions in a robust manner.
- Understand ALLPLAN's mission and strategy to clarify business priorities for the cross-functional teams.
- Drive continual product improvements and deliver results that exceed customer expectations
- Engage the industry as an ALLPLAN representative.
- Gather and analyze market data (users, prospects, competitors) as input into product planning.
- Work across the organization to develop clear and compelling value propositions at the beginning of the development process.
- Define user personas and work with UX and Development teams to complete technology assessment and direction.
- Build and manage the product backlog with the cross-functional team.
- Work directly with our development teams to ensure execution of the product(s) plan(s).
- Define, monitor, and analyze metrics for product functionalities and feed learnings back into product development process.
- Support the Product Marketing team to deliver product positioning and content.
