Process Developer / Process Engineer (m/f/d) Manufacturing Engineering for Sibiu

After an induction phase at the Sibiu site, you will work at the headquater in Germany for at least six months before returning to Sibiu with your acquired knowledge. You will be the main interface to our production departments when working on cable assembly projects and will coordinate the projects until they are handed over to the plant for series production.

Your tasks

  • Evaluation of new projects for technical feasibility
  • Process development and creation of production concepts and their target-oriented transfer to series production in terms of costs, deadlines and process reliability
  • Preparation of market-driven calculations
  • Planning and coordination of all production processes (including international) from prototyping to the start of series production
  • Strategic further development and expansion of internal production processes
  • Close cooperation with other departments (product design, QM, purchasing, sales and production) and our colleagues at the subsidiaries
 

Your qualifications

  • Engineering degree or alternatively technical apprenticeship with further technical education
  • Professional experience in the technical field - ideally in process management, project management, process development or similar
  • Confident handling of MS-Office programs, user knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP)
  • Fluent in English and Romanian, German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
  • Team and communication skills as well as a high sense of responsibility
