If you would like to work for an exciting startup and gain insights into the world of translation in book production and publishing, then we are looking for you to join us for a 3-month internship in the field of translation in a home office!
Work and learn from the comfort of your own home!

No matter where you live, you can be part of the indayi family!

The internship is unpaid. In return, we offer you an excellent, priceless working and learning environment. You do your work at home in your home office and can organize your time. You should plan on working around 30 hours per week. 

• You translate selected manuscripts. 
• You write synopses and spine texts and support the team in finding titles.
• You will get to know the exciting world of social media marketing, create posts on Facebook, blog posts and short YouTube videos – in “your” language.

• Startup mentality: You love small & flat hierarchies.
• You can get stuck in, are enthusiastic about learning, highly motivated, work independently and carefully and enjoy your work and languages.
• You are usually in a good mood, committed, creative and like to think outside the mainstream.
• You have good language skills (expression, grammar and spelling), both written and spoken, in German and in “your” language.
• You are confident and experienced in using MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint. 
• Ideally, you are currently completing your studies and have some experience in translation.
• You have a passion for translating, writing and creating texts.
• You can get excited about our vision: to make the world a little bit better through books!
• You love to learn and develop yourself.
• We attach particular importance to diligence when working on specific manuscripts.

• You can work on your translation independently and autonomously at home.

• We work in a results-oriented and independent manner.
• You have the opportunity to express your linguistic creativity, which sounds natural and fluent in “your” language.
• You will gain insights into unique guides, moving novels, entertaining children's books, shocking non-fiction books, etc.
