Praktikum im Bereich Online Marketing / Social Media (m/w/d): P-OM

Are you bursting with ideas about how to reach as many people as possible with great ideas? Are you creative when it comes to developing online content? Are you enthusiastic about Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media? Are you curious about developing and implementing a marketing plan for a book title? Would you like to work with an exciting startup? 

Then we are looking for you to join us for a  3 to 12-month internship  in the area of ??????????online marketing & social media!

The internship is  unpaid.  In return, we offer you an excellent, invaluable working and learning environment.

• You research, write and create appealing content about our books. This includes blog articles, newsletters, social media posts, infographics, etc.
• Concept & creative work for crazy online marketing measures
• You develop ideas on how we can use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media channels for advertising and marketing purposes and implement the ideas
• You develop ideas for YouTube videos and create them!
• You develop ideas about which online channels we can use for marketing purposes, what the content could look like and you create the content.
• You actively write to bloggers, influencers, media and websites to convince them about our books.
• You read our books.

• Startup mentality: You love small & flat hierarchies. 
• You can get stuck in, are enthusiastic about learning, highly motivated and enjoy your work.
• You are characterized by social skills and the ability to work in a team. You can take criticism, are generally in a good mood, are committed, eager to learn, creative and like to think outside the mainstream.
• You enjoy working in an innovative environment.
• Ideally, you are currently completing your studies.
• You have a passion for texts, images, communication and advertising.
• You can get excited about our vision: to make the world a little bit better through books!
• Great interest in online marketing. Ideally, you have some experience with social media, SEO or similar topics.
• You are familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and, ideally, other online channels.
• Ideally: You have a feel for design and experience in layout design (eg with Photoshop, GIMP or Powerpoint).
• You have very good written and spoken German skills.

• Startup experience instead of a boring large corporation! That means no making coffee, no hours of editing Excel tables and, above all, no boredom caused by lengthy and petty tasks.
• Result-oriented and independent work. 
• Steep learning curve, a lot of personal responsibility.

After 3 months, you will have learned more than in almost any other publishing house, because here you will learn all aspects of the publishing industry and be given responsibility.
