Your Profile:

• an excellent PhD degree or equivalent in immunology of infectious diseases, preferably tropical infections
• multiple years of experience in designing large flow cytometry panels and strong flow cytometry acquisition and analysis skills (e. g. high dimensional data clustering algorithms)
• experience working with mice according to FELASA standards (at least under Biosafety level 3**)
• experience in biological containment (e. g. Biosafety level 3** or equivalent)
• commitment, team spirit and good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and ability to plan and execute experiments independently and flexibly
• experience in field work, preferably in West African countries
• experience in training of PhD students, interns and master students
• very good spoken and written English and German
• willingness to work under conditions of safety levels 3 and 4
