About the Job

Oversee a company's business operations, liaise with stakeholders, drive strategic company growth, and are responsible for the overall performance of the Sefar business.

Your Role

Leadership
  • Provide direction and leadership for the region within the "Sefar Group Policy and Policies", The "Sefar Guideline of Behaviour" and "Sefar Guideline of Behaviour in Competition".
  • Lead the country managers, and coordinate the budgeting process and 3 years planning for the Region
  • Assure the implementation of Sefar's strategy, concept and initiatives
  • Create group thinking on all levels
  • Uses regional support function to support local organizations in their fast and timely roll out of group initiative and their installation of best demonstrated practices.
 
Human Resources
  • Hire, qualifies, develop, compensate and dismisses all his/her directly reporting people according to the "4 Eyes Principle" and approves according to "4 Eyes Principle" all personnel decisions regarding the next lower hierarchical level.
  • Support management development, talent recruitment, promotion and employee retention in his/her region.
  • Host representatives of Global Business (i.e. Architecture, M&R) on request and in coordination with relevant Business Manager
Market
  • Knows the regional market, its opportunities and competition
  • Assure competent and fast reacting organization to penetrate the local markets and capture opportunities in line with the business strategies.
  • Provide Business with relevant information from markets and customers to allow targeted development and further roll-out. Proposes new product/market ideas to the Businesses. Suggest adaption to local requirements for the product.
  • Assure the rapid copying of success stories within his/her region in coordination with the Business. Responsible the roll-out of new product and services provided by the Businesses.
  • Initiate / participates in cross boarder project teams
  • Identify, evaluate, propose, integrates business opportunities, acquisition / divestment as well as alliances.
  • Initiate / participates in cross boarder project teams
  • Has regular contact with important customers in order to evaluate their satisfaction and to detect future trends
Performance
  • Exploit the market potential in the region
  • Implements the strategy, goals and main moves for the 3 years plan and establish yearly budgets within the Region, in cooperation with the Businesses.
  • Overviews the regional pricing in coordination with the respective Businesses
  • Monitors and analyses the overall performance (insight analysis) and organizes and action plan if required (not only financial)
  • Ensure the best allocation of resources and optimizes the use of capital employed.
  • Installs "early warning system" and timely reaction
Representation
  • Represent the interests of the Region on Group Level
  • Represents the Region in the regional public, professional associations and partners

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for controlling and overseeing all business operations and people.
  • To be the strategist and a leader who is able to steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.
  • Oversees the sales operations in an organization by continuously develop Sefar business in the defined sales region.
  • Position Sefar strategically well for long term success.
  • Manage Day to Day Office Operation.
  • Give strategic advice and report results and findings to HoR SEAO.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments online with company's objectives.
  • Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.
  • Create and report on business plans, monitoring its efficacy and progress.
  • Remain close to all stakeholders including the HOR SEAO, staff, clients, key-decision makers and external service suppliers.
  • Research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs.
  • Continuous monitoring of the annual budget and ensure that revenue/sales targets are met.
  • Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategy to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales.
  • Manage key personnel, clients and service providers.
  • Promote the wellness of staff and implementing policies in-line with labor legislation and health and safety guidelines to create a diverse and positive working environment.
  • Preparation of annual reports and attending/presenting at board meetings.

Your Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree with additional economic education
  • E-MBA in General Management, Marketing, Sales or similar
  • Experience & Knowledge of ASEAN Filtration Market - sales where Sefar is active (fuel filter, acoustic filter, food filtration, pharma filter, mineral & chemical filtration, dust filtration)
  • Prefer to have worked with our competitor and/or customers
  • Speak fluent English
  • Has experience leading a sales & production team
  • Know the impact on P&L statement (had P&L responsibility in the past).
  • Not necessary experience in leading a large team
  • Dynamic, pro-active work style
  • Good team player, self-motivated, well-organized and result-oriented 
  • High degree of travelling to around country responsibility and in the region is required
  • Technical understanding of Filter Media and Filtration processes, Component
