Managing Director

Are you an experienced leader ready to take the helm of a dynamic subsidiary and drive its success? We're looking for a Managing Director to oversee and manage the operations of our offices in Maribor and Ljubljana while aligning with the strategic objectives of our Vienna-based parent company. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of talented employees and shape the future of our organization in Slovenia.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long- and short-term strategies for Ineor aligned with the parent company's vision and objectives. Applying all general enactments and decisions of the employer.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, review progress, and make adjustments in collaboration with headquarters and other relevant stakeholders
• Budget Management: Create and manage budget forecasts and plans with relevant stakeholders.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the C-Level management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to support business success and drive key initiatives.
• HR support: Oversee HR staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the human resources department operates efficiently and that the organization's human capital is managed in a way that supports the organization's overall success.
• IT Leadership: Oversee IT staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the effective delivery of technology services, alignment with organizational goals, and continuous improvement in performance and productivity.
• Day-to-Day Management: Handle all office-related issues, activities, and personnel matters in both locations. Applies prescribed measures for health and safety at work.
• Team Development: Guide, coach, and discipline employees while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
• People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop people leads, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Ensure clear communication of roles, expectations, and performance goals while providing regular feedback and professional development opportunities to support individual and team growth.
• Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities for market expansion and guide the subsidiary in pursuing them.
• Compliance, Legal, and Financial Knowledge: Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and standards within the office while maintaining a strong understanding of relevant legislation and financial requirements.
• Corporate Culture and Corporate Social Responsibility: Advocate for a strong company culture that emphasizes good working conditions, high morale, and sustainability. Integrating CSR initiatives into the subsidiary's operations and promoting sustainable business practices.

  Direct Superior: C-Level board member of the parent company and/or local MD.
Responsible for the Ljubljana office.
Based in Ljubljana.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a proven track record in leadership and office management, preferably within an international or corporate environment.
• Possesses strong strategic and operational skills, with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across teams and departments.
• Is well-versed in Slovenian labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to travel frequently between Maribor, Ljubljana, and Vienna.
• Demonstrates strong cultural awareness and the ability to integrate sustainability and corporate social responsibility into business practices.
