Home and Family Language Teachers:
Turkish
Minijob (up to 5 hours per week). Starting as soon as possible. This Position is initially until July 2025.
Skills necessary for the position:
The successful candidate needs to have a sense of fulfilment from growing and learning with children and needs to contribute to the continuing development of our Home and Family Language Program and multiculturalism throughout the whole school.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has at least a Bachelor's degree and a qualified teacher status and is experienced in working with children
- Is motivated and enthusiastic about teaching literature, language and culture in the corresponding language
- Can support our students in accessing the school's curriculum
- Can collaboratively plan with mainstream teachers
- Can liaise and consult with the Lower School Home and Family Language Program to provide continuity
- Can keep materials up to date
- Can communicate in English
- has up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people
- displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
