LEAP Quality Inspector

Your tasks

 
  • Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, piece parts on schedule
  • Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts
  • Request and execute engine modifications
  • Control of executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies
  • Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work
  • Application of Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
  • Continuous improvement of the processes to be executed with the aim of improving quality and safety
  • Environmentally conscious handling of operating equipment (resources)
  • Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition
  • Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders
  • Documentation of activities assigned in accordance with regulations
  • Performance of internal audits (e.g. 5S audits) and in-time implementation of the defined actions

Your profile

 
  • Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/ part 66
  • Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player with good communication skills
  • High safety, quality and cost awareness
  • Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
  • Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
