About the role
Due to our dynamic growth, we are looking for a Junior Business Data Analyst (m/f/d) - Solar Trade ideally in Munich or Tübingen, otherwise remotely within Germany.
What You Will Do
- You will be responsible for the development and optimization of existing as well as for the creation of new global reports in the areas of e.g. sales, purchasing, e-commerce and financials
- You will work closely with our executive team (and an external service provider) and contribute to the development of new relevant KPIs
- You will identify, collect, and translate business requirements into user centric reports in a structured way
- You will analyze data and KPIs and support our benchmarking with the insights gained
- You transfer your enthusiasm for Business Intelligence Tools e.g. PowerBI to our employees and introduce them to these tools, create tutorials and conduct trainings
- You will cooperate closely with the Data Engineering team and take over minor tasks if necessary
- You will support colleagues in our legal entities in setting up their own local reports
Your Profile
- Degree in business informatics or economics with focus on data science or a comparable commercial education as well as initial practical experience in a company
- High technical and digital affinity, and experience with data management solutions like Microsoft Azure, visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau and SQL programming or equivalent
- Strong analytical understanding and a high affinity for business contexts and figures
- Self-starter, keen on diving into data sets, with a dive deep mentality and the ability to work in an uncharted environment
- Strong hands-on-mentality and proven problem-solving skills
- Proactivity and ability to drive tasks to successful completion in a fast-paced global environment
- Integrity, a quick comprehension, and very good communication skills
- Team player who works independently, structured, and reliably as well as has a secure and confident appearance
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
