Your responsibilities:
- You will develop and maintain Java source code for both the implementation of new features and the maintenance of existing ones.
- The focus will be on enhancing our control center software for automated vehicle location (AVL), intermodal transport control system (ITCS) and electromobility applications
- Software development will include analysis, design, implementation and testing for our international projects
- Assuming responsibility for specific software modules and the integration into the overall system
- You will work in close cooperation with the development and projects teams in the HQ in Germany
- Applied technologies will be Java, JPA, Spring, REST, Maven and PostgreSQL. Also containers (Kubernetes, docker), Loki, Grafana and Wiremock.
Your profile:
- Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline
- 2+ years' industry experience with object-oriented software development based on Java
- Experience in Java Persistence API and relational databases such as PostgreSQL would be a plus
- High commitment, team spirit and motivation to assume responsibility in a Scrum development team
- Availability for occasional business travel to our HQ in Karlsruhe, Germany
- Proficient in written and spoken English
