YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Development and Implementation of the Group-wide Sustainability Strategy:
  • Define strategic sustainability goals that achieve both business relevance and positive ecological and social impacts, in coordination with SVP Group Strategy.
  • Ensure consistency between sustainability goals and Strategy 2030.
  • Develop strategically relevant measures to promote the sustainability positioning of the Vorwerk Group.
Strategic Initiatives and Goal Management:
  • Implementation of group-wide sustainability initiatives and coordination of the stakeholders required to implement the strategic goals.
  • Integration and activation of relevant stakeholders from the core business, e.g. sales marketing, (digital) product development, incentives, modus operandi.
  • Ensure compliance with ESG requirements and integrate legal obligations (e.g., LkSG, EUDR, CSDDD).
Management and Engagement of Relevant Stakeholders:
  • Coordinate and engage internal stakeholders, such as sales marketing, product development and other operational departments.
  • Select and manage external consultants to complement internal competencies and support complex projects.
Conducting Strategic Analyses:
  • Analyze ESG trends and their impact on core business operations.
  • Identify sustainability potentials and evaluate market attractiveness for relevant topics.
Support and Coordination of the Strategy Process:
  • Assist in the annual update of the strategic sustainability roadmap.
  • Support the annual strategy process at division, country and functional levels, including coordination with respective management to ensure alignment with Group Strategy.
  • Evaluate the progress of ongoing sustainability initiatives and create status reports together with the PMO and initiative leaders.
Development of Methods and Knowledge Management:
  • Contribute to the development of tools and methods for ensuring ESG compliance.
  • Support internal training on sustainability strategy and promote knowledge exchange.

YOU OFFER US

  • Excellent academic background with a master's degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including in a leading strategy consultancy or a comparable position with a strategic focus.
  • Management Experience: Initial experience in disciplinary management or extensive experience in the technical management of complex, cross-divisional projects in areas such as strategy, business development or sustainability.
  • Knowledge of sustainability strategy and ESG compliance, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., LkSG, EUDR, CSDDD).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a result-oriented and performance-driven mindset; independent working skills are essential.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Excellent communication skills across different organizational levels, with strong networking abilities.
  • High social competence and empathy, with the ability to convince and engage stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic demeanor and charismatic presence, coupled with strong presentation skills.
  • Team player, willing and able to work closely with other units.
  • Openness to new ideas and approaches, with a commitment to advancing innovative solutions to achieve strategic sustainability goals.
