Graduates - Junior Finance Consultant (f/m/d)

EY ifb is part of the global EY Professional Services organization. EY ifb is a leading European Consulting firm specializing in Financial Accounting and Financial Risk. Our focus is introducing financial transformation and business solutions utilizing innovative Business IT, Cloud and AI solutions for Banks and insurance companies. EY ifb is looking to employ graduates with Finance & Accounting, Economics or Natural Sciences Master's degree for an entry level junior finance consulting position. We would like you to join our team and immerse you into the exciting world of Management Consulting and Financial Transformations. 

As you start your Consultant career, you will receive comprehensive trainings in finance, accounting, information technology, business systems, artificial intelligence (AI) and other topics within our New Joiners 8-week Consultant training. You will be learning alongside other EY ifb graduates hired as part of the same hiring intake. New Joiner training (NJT) includes theoretical and practical "hands on" exercises, the latter undertaken in small teams.  After completing NJT, your Junior Consultant career path and initial yearly goals will be discussed and mutually agreed. Next Junior Consultants join a team where you will apply your newly developed skills and knowledge directly at a client engagement.

• You will gain experience adapting business process models to tailor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business systems to support clients' financial accounting and financial period closure.  
• You might join a financial transformation project, as the EY ifb team introduces standardized business processes for financial accounting or perhaps IFRS mandated regulatory controls to manage large Corporations' financials.
• You will benefit from the EY ifb culture of teamwork which is characterized by challenging project work, teaming, trust, cooperation, and innovative collective thinking. These projects are exciting, as every client's situation and needs are different.  

• Master's degree in either Finance & Accounting, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or a similar master's degree.  
• Strong analytical mindset. 
• Creative and independent working habits. 
• Good work ethic and are detailed orientated. 
• Keen interest in finance, accounting, economics, and business. 
• Grasp concepts and quickly breakdown complex topics into their constitute parts. 
• Have a grasp of technology, perhaps regularly downloading the latest new App to your mobile phone. 
• Enjoy working with others on a common goal. 
• Like occasional International travel to meet Clients or attend Company events. 
• Bilingual (with C1 or C2 level English language skills).
