Global HR IS Trainee

The Global People Team is making some changes in its structure to further ways of working and to implement the new People strategy. The Global team focuses on five key topics which are: "Increase employer brand awareness", "Attract, retain & develop talents", "Drive the cultural change & develop leadership capabilities", "Increase process standardization, automation & digitalization and last, but not least, "Build & run best-in-class global people team". By concentrating on these strategic priorities, our team effectively guides our global workforce across 28 countries in 5 continents.

Your Role

We are looking for a Global HR IS Trainee who is detail-oriented and self-motivated to contribute to the administration & maintenance of our HR IS landscape, people data, processes and reporting & analytics. This position is intended for an individual based in Barcelona (Cardedeu) who is either a recent graduate or in the early stages of their HR career and is seeking practical experience in HR IS and related HR functions. This position is intended to start on September 2nd.

Your Tasks

  • Take part in our HR digital transformation with a new core HR implementation & talent module, upgrades & integrations;
  • Support the execution of HR IS initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams;
  • Help in configuring and testing new HR IS features & updates;
  • Provide first-level support to HR staff and employees for HR IS related issues;
  • Assist in the deployment and implementation of HR IS policies & procedures.
  • Entry, update, and maintenance of our global employee data in the Core HR system;
  • Inform data integrity by performing regular audits and generating reports to help identify discrepancies, trends and actionable insights;
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports for HR metrics, compliance, and strategic decision-making;
  • Design of global training materials and user guides for end-users;
  • Conduct training sessions for HR IS users to ensure effective utilization of our systems and modules;
  • Guide users to ensure HR IS practices comply with data protection regulations and company policies;
  • Assist in monitoring system security and access controls to safeguard sensitive employee information.

Your Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is enthusiastic about HR technology and digitalization, change management and operational transformation.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and HR IS concepts, with a willingness to learn and expand knowledge in these areas;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English is required);
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or prior experience in HR or IS related roles;
