With the company Monosuisse, the Sefar Group has its own production facilities for a wide variety of yarns in Switzerland, Poland, Romania, Mexico and Germany.    The Global Head of Supply Chain Management is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the company's end-to-end supply chain operations. This includes procurement, production, logistics, distribution, inventory management, demand planning, and supplier relationship management. The Global Head of Supply Chain Management will lead efforts to optimize the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and support business growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve organizational goals.

Key resposibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's overall supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives and Sefar Group strategy
  • Managing global supply chain operations across multiple regions, with a deep understanding of country regulations, cultural differences, and market requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, production/order planning, logistics, and distribution.
  • Ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, services, and information across the supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure the best possible outcomes for the company.
  • Leading digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain, including the adoption of emerging technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, AI, and automation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations incl. ESG, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations in a large organization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
