We provide aerospace test equipment for aircraft production as well as component manufacturing and aftermarket MRO solutions. Besides that, TEST-FUCHS plays a unique and important role in aircraft ground support equipment for the airline industry.

Our US-location (founded in 2017), and the second global equipment production facility, currently employs around 22 highly qualified employees and offers plenty of room for further growth and personal development. As we continue to grow our US team, TEST-FUCHS is looking to add a talented engineer in Brecksville, Ohio, who could be integrated into the engineering team for various potential new roles , such as: Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering,  Quality Engineering, or Technical Drafting. 

Potential Entry Level Role (based on educational degree)
  • Electrical Design Engineer (BSEE, BSEET)
  • Mechanical Design Engineer (BSME, BSMET, BSASE) 
  • Quality Engineer (BSME, BSMET, BSASE, BSEE, BSEET)
  • Software Design Engineer (BSCSE)
  • Technical Drafter (BSME, BSMET, BSASE)

Responsibilities

  • Participating in design reviews, documenting best practices, assisting in project design/development, updating/maintaining active project data and standard disciple focus work
  •  Collaborating with other engineering disciplines for team collaborative designs
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable design solutions
  • Aid in development and support of local QMS 
  • Support in the development and the maintenance of complete assembly BOMs
  • Create and maintain revision control on, drawings, schematic, processes, work instructions, and other production related documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate of Applied Science in ME/MET, EE, EET, CSE, or ASE 
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • Mechanical only - experience working with 3D modeling software
