As a core team member of the Galileo Service Operator (GSOp), DLR GfR mbH operates and manages the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen in Germany (GCC-D) and the Maintenance Engineering team inside the Galileo Project is the driving force behind the staggered implementation of the Level 2 and Level 3 maintenance of the Galileo Ground Infrastructure (Galileo Mission Segment, Galileo Control Segment, GNSS Service Center and Galileo Security Monitoring Center).
As a Cyber Galileo AIV Engineer, you will be responsible for working on maintenance activities performing corrective, preventive, adaptive, and perfective maintenance in the area of cybersecurity for the Galileo maintenance, validation, and operational environments.
You should feel comfortable working with heterogeneous ICT environments, enjoy working in agile teams, and continuously learning to be up to date with new technologies.

As a Cyber Galileo AIV Engineer you will assume the following duties:
- Build subject expertise in the Galileo Ground Segment and understand the end-to-end Galileo System.
- Complete the training needs analysis and training plan.
- Support to incident resolution and anomaly root cause identification.
- Coordinate and support with L2 colleagues from other segments.
- Support the continuous service improvement initiatives from a technical point of view.
- Maintain and evolve the maintenance and troubleshooting platform.
- Providing support to Cybersecurity in the form of updates for integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments.
- Report and escalate security incidents
The position can be based in Oberpfaffenhofen, Madrid, Paris (St. Germain) or Fucino.
