In our UK branch based in Peterborough, we operate with a small professional, agile support and sales team. This ensures rapid and reliable support for our customers both in the UK and beyond. This field service position is ideal for someone who lives in England, in the area between Nottingham and London.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintenance of electrical and hydraulic Test Equipment (TE) and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
- Calibration and repair activities at National customer locations
- Creation of maintenance, test and calibration protocols and reports
- Technical support of our UK customers in collaboration with UK and Austrian colleagues
- Elaboration and review of spare parts packages
- Management of company vehicle, tooling and support equipment
Qualifications
- Completed National technical vocational training (e.g. C&G/NVQ/HNC/HND) - ideally mechanical bias
- Professional experience as field service technician preferred but not essential
- Willingness and ability to travel extensive - expect up to 4 nights/week and to Non EU countries for up to 6 weeks per year
- Openness and enjoyment of customer contact
- Computer and MS Office skills
- High degree of independence and conscientiousness as well as a structured way of working
