We provide aerospace test equipment for aircraft production as well as component manufacturing and aftermarket MRO solutions. Besides that, TEST-FUCHS plays a unique and important role in aircraft ground support equipment for the airline industry. 

Our US-location (founded in 2017), and the second global equipment production facility, currently employs around 20 highly qualified employees and offers plenty of room for further growth and personal development. We are hiring an Engineering Co-op for Ohio, Brecksville

Responsibilities

  • Work assignments may include participating in design reviews, documenting best practices, assisting in project design/development, updating/maintaining active project data and standard disciple focus work


  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines


  • Special projects as identified by the Engineering Team


  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines for team collaborative designs


  • Support in the development and the maintenance of complete assembly BOMs


  • Aid in maintenance of revision control on, drawings, and schematics

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Computer, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred)


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future


  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment with a focus in design and development
  • Strong technical skills


  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    Preferred 


  • Junior or Senior class standing (completed 60 credit hours).


  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0


  • Mechanical only - experience working with 3D modeling software (Creo Direct a plus)


  • Electrical only - experience working with Eplan
