Job Description & Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Product & Technology, you will lead our product and engineering teams, reporting directly to our CEO. This role demands a strong technical background to engage deeply with our development team, providing technical and strategic guidance to drive product innovation. You will blend technology expertise with product vision, setting a clear direction for LUY's products and ensuring that our technology meets the evolving needs of our customers.
- Define and implement a technology-focused product strategy aligned with company objectives, emphasizing technical innovation and customer satisfaction
- Act as a technical sparring partner for developers, ensuring high-level discussions and decisions on software architecture and development practices
- Lead the Product Management team to prioritize initiatives that deliver clear market impact, in collaboration with our Go-to-Market and other departments
- Drive technical excellence and process efficiency within the engineering team to support high-quality, timely product releases
- Oversee the product roadmap, balancing technical innovation with scalability to support LUY's growth
- Contribute to overall company strategy and decision-making as a key member of the leadership team
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., Director of Engineering, Director of Product, former CTO) with a strong product affinity
- Proven background in technical leadership within the B2B SaaS or tech industry, capable of engaging deeply with technical teams
- Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks and architecture (e.g., Java Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript) and familiarity with Agile software development practices.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling products and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strategic, analytical mindset.
- Fluent in English and German language
