Digital Hardware Design Engineer (m/f/d)
what will expect you in this role:
- Development of electrical and optical devices
- Special focus on digital hardware and optical electronics
- Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and optical electronics
- Layout of complex PCBs
- Simulation of digital circuits
- Documentation of development results
- Bring up and test of prototypes
what you can contribute:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering
- Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces
- Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compatibility
- n-depth experience in the field of digital circuit design, RF engineering and optical communication
- Knowledge of simulation programs (e.g. Xpedtition Hyperlynx)
- Experience in complex PCB layout is of advantage
- Good knowledge of English
- Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
