THE POSITION
As a Data Engineer / BI Expert for Controlling (m/f/x), you are part of our Controlling team and the point of contact for our management, our business leaders, our other back-office teams and external stakeholders.
- You are responsible for the system landscape in the area of Controlling and ensure smooth system operation for the data flow between LucaNet, the Microsoft Azure Cloud and the Power BI front-end
- You are responsible for our database management as well as data integrity and security across the system landscape
- You support the implementation of ongoing controlling by means of detailed analysis of plan/actual deviations, analysis and visualization of data for the entire organization in Power BI
- Through the processes you automate, you make our controlling fit for the future and you continuously develop our existing BI & reporting systems further
- You create ad hoc reports and monthly analyses
- You feel comfortable communicating and coordinating with other Avantgarde locations around the globe
YOUR PROFILE
- A degree in informatics, business informatics, mathematics or a similar field of study
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of the usual controlling topics and confident handling of LucaNet, Microsoft Azure and Power BI
- Sound knowledge of database management (SQL and NoSQL databases) and data processing (ETL processes)
- Initial experience with programming languages and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure Cloud)
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness, enjoy teamwork and cross-functional projects
- Very proficient in written and spoken German and English
