We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst (f/m/d) to join our Group Controlling team, with a specific focus on budgeting and managing IT costs. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that IT expenditures are accurately tracked, analyzed, and optimized to support the company's strategic goals. Additionally, the Data Analyst will focus on automating reporting processes across all Group Controlling areas.

Your tasks

Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Identify, collect and analyze financial and/or operational data from various sources with focus on, but not limited to IT expenditures
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all financial reports
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Design reports and dashboards in tableau for stakeholders
  • Highlight key insights and recommendations to optimize IT spending
  • Maintain and optimize of current reports in Tableau
Automation and Standardization:
  • Maintain and optimize financial databases related to IT costs
  • Provide and implement solutions for automatization of Controlling Processes (VBA, coding)
  • Support Team projects with technical knowledge (SQL, VBA)
  • Manage data structures
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Responsible for IT budgets in collaboration with IT department
  • Provide accurate forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Support group wide budget process (Cost Center planning, commenting, presentations)
Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor IT budget performance
  • Identify trends, patterns and anomalies in IT spending

Your profile

  • Graduation in business information technology, finance or similar education
  • Minimum 3 years in controlling ideally with data analyst background
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA (beyond macro recording)
  • Solid knowledge of tableau
  • SQL knowledge as an advantage
  • Experience in the gaming industry as a plus
