Proalpha Cloud is a service build for our customers to run their Proalpha products inside cloud ecosystem. Over last few years we have invested in ensuring that our cloud services are secure, stable and reliable. Our journey now is focusing on moving various services to AWS platform and automated its maintence to very possible extend. As a result we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team.  This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in Windows server management and AWS technologies, coupled with an enthusiasm for automating processes and improving IT infrastructure. Your tasks

  • Your main responsibity will be to deliver to customer high quality cloud services
  • This includes things like :
    - daily maintenance of the infrastructure running on AWS and other data centers
    - develop new automation scripts to reduce manual work and provide more self-service features to customers
    - contribute to cost optimizations initiatives - scripts, automation, redesing, reimplementation of existing services
  • Support cloud customers by resolving incident related to cloud infrastructure 

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science with 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Operation department or IT department
  • Fluent language skills in English, German is a plus
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical and time management skills as well as distinctive team and solution orientation
  • PowerShell Proficiency: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in writing and managing PowerShell scripts
  • Windows Server Administration: Experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), and Storage Pool management
  • AWS Platform Knowledge: Proven experience working with the AWS ecosystem, including EC2 administration, networking configurations, and automation using AWS SSM (Systems Manager) features
  • Version Control Systems: Practical experience with Git for version control and collaboration
  • IT Networking: Strong understanding of IT network concepts, including DNS, firewalls, and NAT
  • IT Support Experience: Background in providing IT support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
  • Declarative Configuration Tools: Hands on experience with Terraform ( AWS )
  • Declarative Configuration Tools: Experience with declarative languages and tools like Ansible (optional)
  • Basic Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux systems and basic administration tasks (optional)
  • O365 Knowledge: Understanding of Microsoft O365 tools and services (optional)
