• Define & Drive the Roadmap: Develop and maintain a forward-thinking technical roadmap for our monitoring systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advances.
• Agile Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of monitoring specialists in an agile (SCRUM-based) environment--coordinating daily activities, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring timely delivery of enhancements.
• Technical Stewardship: Act as the product owner for monitoring solutions, translating complex requirements into actionable tasks and prioritizing backlogs.
• Process Optimization: Implement and continuously improve ITIL-based process frameworks for incident management, change control, and problem resolution.
• Innovation & Integration: Oversee the design, deployment, and integration of monitoring solutions with a strong focus on the Elastic Stack, and explore complementary tools (e.g., cloud monitoring, container orchestration).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Service Masters and Service Delivery Management to ensure that monitoring capabilities are robust, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals.
• Mentorship: Coach team members, foster a culture of innovation, and drive continuous learning to keep the team ahead in the evolving monitoring landscape.

• Proven Leadership: Experience in a technical leadership role--preferably as a product owner, chapter lead, or equivalent
• Agile & ITIL Expertise: Deep familiarity with ITIL-based process frameworks and agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM
• Elastic (ELK) Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the Elastic (ELK) Stac - Logstash in particular - from deployment to optimization, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Cloud & Container Know-How: Exposure to cloud-based monitoring solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus.
• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of IT infrastructure
• Analytical & Communicative: Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
• Passion for Innovation: A drive to stay updated with emerging technologies, continuously improve processes, and push the boundaries of what monitoring systems can achieve.
