North America currently is the highest growth market for MVTec, and to build upon that success we are looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (m/f/d). You will put MVTec's knowledge of machine vision applications in selected vertical markets to use by identifying client opportunities and helping our sales team turn those opportunities into customers. Business Development Manager (f/m/d)
Your tasks:
Analyze and develop business development strategies for our MVTec products in selected vertical markets and evaluate future trends
Generate demand for machine vision solutions based on MVTec products in North America using knowledge of machine vision applications and USP's identified by MVTec's Headquarters
Identify decision makers and proactively develop leads and opportunities in North America in specific industries
Assist Regional and Key Account Managers in North America in turning opportunities into customers
Become the subject matter expert for machine vision applications in selected vertical markets for North America
Collaborate with MVTec's Headquarters to refine application knowledge according to North American customers' needs
Your qualifications:
Professional experience in B2B sales and business development for makers of technology or manufacturing equipment, preferably within the semiconductor and battery manufacturing industry
Experience creating a business development plan by analyzing markets and supply chains
Demonstrated ability to self-sufficiently generate leads and business opportunities for an organization
Interest in and technical understanding of our software products
Enthusiasm in driving new topics with different stakeholders while navigating complex decision-making structures in the client organization
Excellent communication skills, customer focus and goal-oriented workstyle with strategic thinking and entrepreneurial acting
Willingness to travel (30%)
