Business Controller

We are looking for Highly analytical and results-driven Business Controller to oversee financial planning, controlling, and reporting across key business areas, with main focus on OpEx (incl. personnel costs), production costs, inventory, and investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure planning, control, and reporting of OpEx, personnel costs, production costs, inventory, investments
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and provide insights on budget deviations with recommendations for optimization
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning, ensuring alignment with financial targets
  • Analyze production performance (machine hourly rates definition, verifiying accuracy of production orders costing, etc.)
  • Identifies business critical related processes and propose process optimizations
  • Contributing to Board of Mangers / Directors documentation preparation and supporting strategic decision-making
  • Participate in financial and cross-functional projects, driving process improvements and business optimization initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial controlling or business controlling role (experience in an industrial manufacturing company is a plus)
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong process oriented approach
  • Experience in cost accounting, production controlling, and inventory management is a strong plus
  • Excellent Excel skills mandatory; experience with financial analysis tools (e.g., Tagetik, Power BI, SQL) is a plus
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with organizational strategy.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus
