Assistant Underwriter (m/w/d)

• Supporting Underwriting Director and Underwriters in portfolio management and reinsurance issues including policy preparation and policy issuance.
• Support Underwriters in referral preparations in all Line of business (JIA and Non-JIA).
• Support the development of Global International Programs (i.e. issuing of local policies on behalf of other MSIG BU, handling of GIP instructions when leader).
• Data and process analysis: identification, management and communication of requirements from the Business Unit to Corporate Center, including all data entries (booking) into IT applications.
• Data and process analysis: identification, management and communication of requirements from the Business Unit to Corporate Center (COO Area).
• Special tasks (e.g. project tasks in the areas of portfolio's management/IT, processes, etc. in accordance of the instructions received).
• Collaborate with other BU functions, in particular Credit Control Area, to solve mismatches between booking activity and Premium's income. 

• High School or higher-level diploma or Business Organization Degree.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in operations activities.
• Basic knowledge of the lines of business within in the industrial insurance sector
• Knowledge of the technical requirements of a documentation system including the creation and the storage of documentation.
• High level of self-motivation and resilience.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision especially at month and year end.
• Good self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Assertiveness.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good ability to think analytically and in a network.
• Good data entry skills.
• Providing an efficient service to internal Clients (Business Unit and CC).

• Confident handling of common MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
• Good knowledge of English language.
